Church on the Rock | Alaska

This week in our Revelation series, we will discover that the devil is in the details...or at least his decoys and deceptions are! As we unpack chapters 12-14, prepare to learn about a ploy the enemy has been using since the Garden of Eden!

The heartbeat of Church on the Rock is to help people discover how they can LOVE God and LOVE one another, LIVE with passion, purpose, and freedom, and LEAD others to this same experience in Jesus. We simply say, “helping others Love, Live, and Lead in Jesus".

This weekend, we invite you to join us as we continue our journey through the Book of Revelation, exploring chapters 6-11 and some of the book's most powerful and challenging imagery.

Together, we'll see a world shaken by judgment, believers standing faithfully, and God remaining completely in control. Come ready to discover the hope found in the middle of it all: Jesus sustains His people, rescues His people, and reminds us that evil will not have the final word.

The heartbeat of Church on the Rock is to help people discover how they can LOVE God and LOVE one another, LIVE with passion, purpose, and freedom, and LEAD others to this same experience in Jesus. We simply say, “helping others Love, Live, and Lead in Jesus".

What do worship and a divinely secure scroll have in common?

Revelation 4 and 5 give us a glimpse into the throne room of God, where He sits at the center of all worship. We also discover that Jesus is the very answer to our inability to save ourselves. He has good plans for us, and my hope is that we will respond to His invitation to walk forward into the new life He has ransomed for us.

If Jesus wrote a letter to the church today, what would He say? For the churches in Revelation, they did not have to wonder.

They got mail, directly from the Son of God! In the letters to the churches, we discover more of the heart of Jesus as he commends, confronts, and corrects the 7 churches in Revelation. My hope is that as we read through these passages, we will have ears to hear and understand what the Holy Spirit is revealing to each of us through the Scriptures.
