Church Hurt, like any hurt, is a real thing. Just like in any family or friend group you are a part of there will be times where you get offended, hurt, and even mistreated. Conversely, there might be times where you do the offending, cause the hurt, or mistreat someone. Just because we are the church, does not mean these things won’t happen.

Why is that?

Because the Church is a community of imperfect people, pursing a perfect God. As followers of Jesus we don’t always get things right, this includes those in positions of leadership. But we have a good God who is in the process of purifying His bride, the church, and bringing His healing to any wound that may have been cause at the hands of His people. Looking forward to diving in further with you Church Fam!

By the way, so is our series “Patriot Games”. This Sunday we will wrap up answering the question, “What should we do when the ballots are counted?” Will we still be on the mission of God when the media noise stops?
